Here I am, jotting down bit to bit about what I think about life. This is life according to me. -Qarin Almaduri, 22

Of colors, race and religion

A few days ago, the country has been surprised by racial spark ignite by some morons. Blood, dirty verbal racial remarks, is everywhere in the country. From what I understood, guy A has been cheated by guy B about the authenticity of the phone that been bought. I understand perfectly well about how fed up one would feel when being cheated on, but there's always a way, not a harmful one, of course to settle the problem. But, human, being the fool that we always are, choose to fight due to some very silly little problem. Honestly, I don't care about who cheated who and what happened before the fight occurred, but the stuff that happened afterwards is heartbreaking.

Some videos on YouTube shows how a large group of Malay guys gathered at Plaza LowYat to avenge their so-called 'blood brothers'. In the name of the 'holy' race, Malay, they not only uttered and shouted racist stuff, but also hit some random Chinese guys that they don't even know. Some even shouted "Allahu Akbar!" while hitting those guys. I know that chanting those kind of phrases is rewarding in Islam, but I'm pretty sure that He'd be disgusted on how such name being chanted while doing stupid act and for all the wrong reasons.

Funny thing is, we complained, get disgusted on how evil Hitler was during the Holocaust that happened in Germany, how Israel are doing the same thing to the Palestinians, but today, we, ourselves are doing the same exact thing due to one stupid reason; "jangan kena pijak dengan cina." First of all, not once in my life, I feel stepped on by those Chinese. As a matter of fact, I feel more sicken by our "Malay" leaders for the corruption that they've done from up above.

"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." Al Hujurat [49:13]

Hasn't this verse explain enough on why Allah created we and them, even you and I, different from one another? It isn't the matter of our skin color, or our race, that differs us. It's how much we do the righteous things that make us different. Therefore, as long as we're alive, I think it's wise to do as many good deeds as possible, and I'm sure hitting and hurting others can't be included under the category of 'good deeds'. If you still wanna do so, stop using race and religion to justify your act, you disgusting piece of shit.
