Here I am, jotting down bit to bit about what I think about life. This is life according to me. -Qarin Almaduri, 22

Be nice

Aristotle's definition of tragedy: an imitation of action that is admirable.

How many times have you find yourself laying awake in your bed at night, thinking of all the wrong things about yourself? The struggle to ace in examinations, the conflict you have with your friends, or the endless fights that at that moment happening between you and anyone in the family? And the worst thing is, there's no one that you could share those things with. Some would end up with committing suicide, as a result of the burden that they can't bear anymore. Some would end up being a 'living corpse', living, but dead. If there's one thing that I can tell about pain, is that they're like parasites. They eat you up slowly, yet lavishly, from the inside, that when they finally done eating, all that left in you is just your physical- no mental, nor emotional balance, just physical. And that's the most tragic thing that can happen to a person.

But hey, look at yourself now. You're somewhere where you never thought yourself would be. You're now someone that you never thought you would become. How old are you now? 15? 18? 20? 25? If you can get through life that long. what makes you think you can't face it for another period of time? Sometimes you need to remind yourself that you were the one who carried you through the heartache. You are the one who sits with the cold body on the shower floor, and picks it up. You are the one who feeds it, who clothes it, who tucks it into bed, and you should be ridiculously proud of that. Having the strength to take care of yourself when everyone around you is trying to bleed you dry -- that is the strongest thing in the universe. Yeah, some motherfuckers would say that you're a fucking tragedy, and yeah, you probably are. So what? Fuck them! Its you, its your life, it's you, yourself, who were there when no one else was.

So, if you're a tragedy,
Know that you are,
Your own hero.

If you're a tragedy,
It isn't actually,
The worst thing.

And if you're a tragedy,
You tell them,
"Fuck you!",

For you're writing,
Your own story.

And if you've already been through that phase, here's the least that you can do to help; be nice to everyone. People die a little bit inside everyday, treat them as nice as the day they are dying. There are days when people would feel like they are the most beautiful, shining stars, and there are days when all they feel is those supposedly-forgotten painful scars. And we will never be able to have even the slightest idea about which day is which; be nice. Some people say, always be nice at first. And if people are being all bitchy or asshole-ish towards you, do the same towards them. But, always be nice first. Because when you made a very bad first impression, everything else will turn out as bad later on.

Be nice,
